Travel Guide | Art Basel Miami Midtown

I have been realizing how blessed I am to live in Miami. 20 minutes from the beach, the downtown area, Aventura mall, and unfortunately 50 minutes from both IKEA's BUT none the less still BLESSED.

This past Friday, my friend and I took a trip to Miami's Midtown area. I was shooketh, it felt like a quieter, more laid-back version of New York City. How have I never seen this area before!?!?

Roaming past the beautiful storefronts of Fendi, Reformation, Tiffany’s, and Bottega Veneta made me feel 100 shades of broke while at the same time sparking inspiration inside of me to keep creating.

If you find yourself in the area, be sure to visit Fendi, not for what’s inside but for what’s outside of the store. There is this super cute art installation of items you’d find on a playground. Pieces you can jump on, run through and hang off of. They were pretty sturdy, so if you’re bored while shopping… RUN TO THIS AREA. Nobody's judging you or at least I’m not 😊

Eats

OTL is a restaurant placed right in front of the Fendi store, where you can find delicious dishes to eat! Honestly, the menu looks pretty basic but I'm all for eating somebody else’s food lol

Kush is another restaurant in close proximity to the Midtown area. Inside has some seating but you’re better off eating outside at the community-styled tables. The food is SO good and the vibe is super laid back. I tried the Vegan Tacos and they were amazing! I missed chicken though so next time I’ll get regular tacos and a side of fries, I’d definitely recommend the tasty salsa and chips!

Pasion Del Cielo Coffee is a great spot for mini bites and coffee if you’re not in the mood for a big meal. The atmosphere is extremely peaceful and the tunes they play are great to listen to.

Lulu's ice cream is nitrogen ice cream that they make right in front of you. They have a wide variety of flavors and waffle cones. The shop is super cute with wooden benches and a chill atmosphere.
